The site and its processes
The Culinary Institute of America has a huge library of videos, but they were scattered around the web in various places viewable on random, out-dated players. They asked us to create for them a central video hub that plays single videos and playlists for all devices and can be embedded on all those existing video pages for a seamless UX.
The design had to stand on its own but also work when embedded into another site with its own design. So we kept a clean interface. The embeddable pages’ colors can be modified via EE so they better match their parent site as well.
The site is still a work-in-progress as we keep adding new features. Next up is a pay wall to make certain videos and/or feeds accessible only to customers.
