Tresco Island website
Just 28 miles off the Cornish coast, this extraordinary island getaway asked us to create an equally distinctive website to reflect their award winning accommodation, fabulous food offer, and not least some unique features including white sandy beaches and a world famous sub-tropical garden.
We’ve worked with Tresco Estate as their creative and marketing partner for a number of years, helping them develop their marketing materials and brand positioning. Having redesigned the Tresco Times into a Yearbook and a series of mini-publications in 2013, they approached us to design and build a new website.
The existing website was deemed to be underselling the island as a holiday destination. The new site needed to properly showcase the unique beauty of the island, the exceptional standard of accommodation and hospitality, and the many different aspects of island life.
We’ve developed a truly immersive website, providing users with the best interactive experience across a range of devices, from desktop computer to tablet and mobile. The site features distinctive illustration and evocative photography, art directed by our team, to inform and inspire. We also wrote much of the copy, creating an consistent tone of voice throughout the site, which is fully optimized for both social media and search engines.
Tresco has a unique and compelling visitor offer which is now reflected in the new website. It acts as an informative, engaging and inspiring shop window that positions Tresco as one of the leading destinations in the UK luxury travel sector. It’s early days, but initial feedback has been very encouraging and we’re confident it will increase guest numbers in the coming year.
