Standards.org helps businesses and organisations across the world achieve certification and compliance to internationally recognised standards.
Technically, the website provides information on international standards, maintains both consultant and certification directories, a press release platform and a jobs board. All content can be created and modified by users themselves and we use a custom admin workflow to ensure that all content being published is of a high standard.
We worked with Solspace to customise their SuperSearch technology, providing a unique way of ranking search results to suit our membership levels and ensure our members receive an equal share of search results when no specific keyword search is run.
As our clients have a complex matrix of payment requirements, we integrated our invoicing with the Freshbooks API, allowing customers a choice of payment options.
The development and launch has been very successful, achieving over 9,000 visitors in the first few weeks of our pre-launch phase, and exceptional industry feedback.

I liked the concept of the website.Also the design of the website looks good and easy to navigate through.One thing which most of the organization ignores is their logo design.Logo plays an important role in determining the goal of the company and hence its very important to design a good logo which should have an impact on the user.I have heard a lot of good reviews of http://www.logogarden.com/.I will recommend you to take a look into it.

Jimmy, I have also heard of Logo Garden and I agree with you many people don’t put a lot of emphasis on their logo design. You want to have a great website, but at the end of the day, it’s your logo that everyone is going to remember. A great design that is memorable will bring customers back, simply because they recognize the design.

As a web designer, I would have to completely agree. While a good logo isn’t really THAT big of a deal on your own site. It creates a brand that is recognized when seen elsewhere. At Cincinnati Web Design we actually use no logo on the site at all. But then again this is a landing site for different purpose than direct sales.
I still agree that most companies should spend a little more getting a quality logo designed for brand association.

This is a great portal to allow people to find the expertise they require. The site seems easy enough to navigate and is self explanatory. I’m also in agreement with the others regarding the Logo design - it’s important to get it right first time as changing it is likely to lose the familiarity connection that others will have when they recognise the brand. I found this recently with a playhouse that I bought for my daughter called the Shire Pixie Playhouse - although the logo was only changed slightly.
