Showcasing ExpressionEngine websites from all over the web

Palo Alto Software
Palo Alto Software is the maker of the number one selling business plan software and marketing plan software in the world.
We rebuilt the Palo Alto Software website from the ground up with ExpressionEngine version 2. The project was designed and developed in a period of about four months, with over 1400 entries worth of content, and over 100 different template files.
We choose ExpressionEngine to get our site out of static, individual Cold Fusion and PHP files and into a maintainable system that would be easy to use for our various content managers. We used a variety of common add ons, including Structure and Freeform, as well as rolling some of our own to meet our functionality requirements.
We haven’t found ExpressionEngine to be the perfect system for every need, but given the scale of the site, it would not have been possible using just about any other content management system.

There are many content management systems in the market. Some professionals charge high prices to create a custom CMS, but for smaller start ups, using the Expression Engine might be a good idea. It looks simple to implement and the results can be very pleasing. The range of add ons available makes it a dream to program too.

I must admit I was impressed about the potential of EpressionEngine. I’ve seen many great sites built with this platform and they really manage to stand out of the static PHP based design. I will uses EE for my AppLogic site after I will manage to master it. I’ve been using other CMS platforms before so I already got a head start.

I have checked this site out because a friend that works for a cloud computing security firm told me about it. It is really good and I think I will contact him in the near future after I finish opening my company. I will come back with a feedback about their work.

I was checking out your 6 projects and after consulting one of my friend that works as an IT support New York specialist I have to tell you that they are pretty good. You really know your stuff! No wonder LANDesk is doing so well! It is because it has people like you working for it.
