Ocean Independence asked us to look at re-designing their website for them. Having built a couple of Expression Engine sites before, we were excited at the prospect of building a site to this scale.

The main factors in the design was creating a layout that was clean, stylish, and easy for the visitor to find all of the information that they needed easily and quickly. Once the general design and layout was agreed we started building the site.

With a database of over 2,000 yachts, importing them in was incredibly easy thanks to the AJW Datagrab plugin, and then Solspace’s Super Search has been fantastic for running the searches of the various yachts. Structure has been the perfect fit in allowing the client to add/remove/organise pages at will - and they found it incredibly easy to use, and then Wgywam for the text editor, CE Image and many other add-ons.

With a site like this the great thing has been the continuing relationship,  languages are coming soon, as well as refining and extending certain elements of the site.
