This was a new site to replace Mike’s current site which was built entirely in flash that encompasses the use of ExpressionEngine of course as well as modern approach to CSS3, Typekit for fonts and in the future media queries for varying devices.

Mike Curry is a landscape photographer based in London, specialising in landscape, panoramic and urban photography where he covers England, and Europe and is available nationwide as well as for commercial clients. Mike’s passion is his landscape and illustrative work and he has been concentrating on this in recent years. His portfolio has a real depth which has won him awards in many international competitions, including four awards from six entries in 2010 and further awards this year in the National Geographic Photo Contest and the International Garden photographer of the Year competition. He is one of the few international professional photographers to be featured in the prestigious Phase One gallery.

The site utilises plugins such as Matrix, Fieldframe, Ngen File, ed-Imageresizer as well as CartThrob, which was in itself quite a task if you see the complicated matrix that is provided with regards print options.

There is scope to increase more functionality on the site in the future with the addition of further tuition options as well as possibly more interaction with the end user. For now Mike is just happy to be away from Flash and into the world of ExpressionEngine.
