Energy Tomorrow

http://energytomorrow.org/

This website was developed in partnership with Antistatic Design and Edelman Digital for The American Petroleum Institute (API).  The website uses a predefined taxonomy to aggregate and tag curated content from external resources including Twitter, Flickr, YouTube, Vimeo, Scribd, Blog Talk Radio, and a Moveable Type blog.

Channel entries are created for each external resource brought in to the system by the aggregation module using the Channel API and a call to the Tag modules parse method.  This data is then displayed on the site using an elegant module wrapping (extending) the Solspace Tag module.  Specifically, the related entries tag.

Structure allows for creation of additional “issue” pages and thus a somewhat endless opportunity for creating additional views of the tagged content.

A carefully selected group of third-party add-ons including WYGWAM and Better Meta polish off the ExpressionEngine publishing experience.

Spine.js is used on the front-end to create bookmark-able urls which bring content in via simple ajax calls.

The website also features a fully responsive design using media queries to flex from full screen to mobile viewing.

Other Add-ons

A custom add-on for aggregating external content (Twitter, Flickr, YouTube, Vimeo, Scribd, Blog Talk Radio, and Moveable Type XML) as expressionengine channel entries.

Some who prefer to do it the old way, choose a grinder that is easiest to clean. It has been found out that the Baratza virtuoso burr coffee grinder is the easiest to clean and the easiest to maintain.

This is a really great site. I found here some really useful information about Natural gas investments  . I have some friends who invested in natural resources and they are very pleased about their accomplishment.

Energytomorrow is a great information aggregator, it’s my one stop-shop for eco-friendly news. It’s also the place where I found out about Junk Removal Dedham, my go-to company when I have to responsibly dispose of large quantities of junk. I recommend enerytomorrow to every person who is concerned about the environment and the impact of our actions.

The Gallery is hand-curated by EllisLab staff. We take the best of the best ExpressionEngine sites and put them on display. We gather these sites from all over the web, starting with Show-ee, the Official Community Showcase for ExpressionEngine.

I love this site. The introductory page is amazing. What’s more amazing is that it is not using Flash. This is the product of HTML5. Very cool indeed! It’s just that the page loads a little longer. youtube to mp3 hq
